The Snyder County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) awarded educational awards to Yvonne Herbster, a senior at Midd-West High School and Thomas Jenkins, a senior at Selinsgrove High School. Each year the award is given to a deserving senior at each high school who will be continuing their studies in the field of education. Miss Herbster, the daughter of Scott and Sharon Herbster of Middleburg, is planning to attend Eastern University to major in Elementary Education. Mr. Jenkins is the son of Joe and Patti Jenkins of Selinsgrove. He is planning to attend Mansfield University for the study of Art.
