| Mifflin County Chapter at Work |
| The Mifflin County Semiannual Library Used Book Sale is one of our major volunteer activities. We have members who work all year long on collecting and sorting the used books. The sales are held Thursday through Sunday on the last full week of April and September. Many members work during the sale time. We help to contribute several thousand dollars to the county public libraries through our efforts during these sales. In addition we always enjoy our contact with the public and often see students and parents with whom we had contact during our working school years. Monthly breakfast meetings help us with our work on the matters of interest which will help our meeting flow with the greatest efficiency and most benefits to our members. The breakfasts are open to any member who wishes to join us. We meet at 8:30 AM usually the Wednesday the week before our meeting at the Green Gables, South Main Street, Lewistown, unless there is a conflict. Watch the calendar in the Newsletter |
